Glades Country Club, is a Private, 36 hole golf facility located in Naples, Florida. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses. They are, the par-70 Pines Course and the par-54 Palmetto Course, an executive course layout.
Glades Country Club, The Pines Course opened in 1974, followed by the Palmetto Course opening in 1975. Both Courses were designed by Bob Dudley Gray.
The Pines is the 18-hole 5,410 yard par-70 course, a real challenge with many lakes, sand traps and twisting fairways. Golfers may ride for comfort or walk for exercise. The Ladies' and Men's Golf Associations sponsor weekly golf events and tournaments for all golfers to enjoy. The course rating is 67.3 and it has a slope rating of 119.
The Palmetto is the 18-hole 1,967 yard par-55 executive course, an exceptional par 3 course enjoyed by golfers of all skill levels. An ideal course for improving your irons game. Home of the couples' "Gruesome Twosome" tourneys played weekly year round. The course rating is 55.0 and it has a slope rating of 113.
The Pines Course is very tight and features water hazards coming into play on every hole. The toughest hole to play is #7, a 370-yard, par 4, with water all the way down the right side of the fairway and out-of-bounds stakes lining the left side. The Palmetto Course is a par 3 course, except for hole #14, a 190-yard, par 4. Both of these courses have numerous sand bunkers protecting the fairways and around the greens. The 4,668-yard ladies' tee for the Pines Course also has a men's course rating of 62.7 and slope of 99.
